Z przyjemnością informujemy, że dzięki zaangażowaniu Departamentu Wojskowych Spraw Zagranicznych MON oraz naszego attache wojskowego w ambasadzie w Hadze, Pan Minister Obrony Narodowej Belgii Steven Vandeput podjął decyzję o przekazaniu do naszego muzeum munduru czołgisty armii belgijskiej. " Monday 18 June, Mr. Pascal Heyman, diplomatic advisor to the Belgian Minister of Defense, Mr. Steven Vandeput, presented the uniform of a Belgian tank commander to the Polish Ambassador in Brussels, H.E. Mr. Artur Orzechowski. The uniform will be on display at the Pilskie Muzeum Wojskowe (Military Museum in Piła, in Poland) in the framework of the permanent exhibition "From Automotive Section to Tank and Truck Service". It is also one of the Belgian contributions to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Polish independence. The exhibition, which will be opened on July 14th, aims to show 100 years of traditional Polish Military Automotive education, which includes a presentation of uniforms of NATO allies. Another fact worth noting is that the airfield where the Museum will be situated is the place where during World War II Belgian prisoners of war forcibly worked in the German Ludwig Hansen aviation workshops. "
